BusinessCulture is part of Passport to Trade, an EU research initiative and it is funded by the EU's Leonardo da Vinci programme.

Invest in Finland is a national organisation promoting foreign direct investments (FDI) in Finland. It is funded by the Ministry of Employment and the Economy and the aim is to have more foreign companies operating in Finland. Invest in Finland works in close cooperation with Finnish industry and offers an effectice link between foreign and domestic companies. In addition to offering practical assistance in contacting appropriate Finnish companies and organisations, it provides all the information required to establish a business in Finland.

Regional and Structural Policy of the EU

In the EU Structural Fund Programmes implemented in Finland, the Ministry of Employment and the Economy aims to diversify the business structure and to improve employment. This is done by supporting establishment and development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and expansion of their activities. Financing is directed to projects developing the competitiveness, know-how and operating environment of the SME sector.
