Regional and Structural Policy of the EU
In the EU Structural Fund Programmes implemented in Finland, the Ministry of Employment and the Economy aims to diversify the business structure and to improve employment. This is done by supporting establishment and development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and expansion of their activities. Financing is directed to projects developing the competitiveness, know-how and operating environment of the SME sector.
