The Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment
The Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment foster regional development by implementing and developing government activities in the regions.
The Centres promote entrepreneurship, functioning of labour market, competence and cultural activities. They ensure safe and smooth transport operations, healthy environment and sustainable use of natural resources in the regions and are in charge of functions related to immigration of labour force.
eServices and Forms
eServices and Forms service enables electronic transactions between citizens, companies and organizations and central government and local authorities, their agencies and other relevant organizations. The service is free to all users. The Ministry of Finance is in charge of administering the service.
FINLEX Data Bank
The FINLEX Data Bank is an information system available free-of-charge on the Internet. A database of translations of Finnish acts and decrees into other languages, mostly in English.
Finnish Competition Authority
The Finnish Competition Authority operates under the Ministry of Employment and the Economy. Its object is to protect sound and effective economic competition and to increase economic efficiency by promoting competition and abolishing competition restraints.

The FVCA's objectives are to develop venture capital activities and practises in Finland.
the Ministry of Employment and the Economy
The Ministry of Employment and the Economy is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of the public employment service. The Ministry drafts legislation on employment services and guides and supports the Employment and Economic Development Centres and, via them, the employment offices in the delivery of services.
SME Foundation
SME Foundation develops and promotes business management skills, principally for small and medium sized enterprises. SME Foundation has activities in three different areas: development of consulting services (training, method development, projects), promotion of research on SMEs and information service (Enterprise Finland portal, newsletter, database of consultants, publications).

YritysHelsinki is a service centre for new and already operating entrepreneurs in Helsinki Capital Region. YritysHelsinki gives personal advice in the languages: Finnish, Swedish, English, Estonian, Russian and German.
