7th EU Framework Programme

The Finnish Secretariat for EU R&D offers information on the EU R&D Framework Programme, offers advice to companies wishing to participate in the programmes, and coordinates the Finnish national contact person (NCP) network. The current 7th Framework Programme is the most important tool of the EU to fund European research and development projects.

TULI programme

Funded and managed by the Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation, the TULI programme (Tutkimuksesta liiketoimintaa, or From Research to Business) implemented by universities of applied sciences and research units is the consortium’s contact platform for business ideas and new companies in universities, universities of applied sciences and research institutes. The cooperation offers research groups, research-based projects and companies the opportunity to utilise EU’s framework programmes and added value services.

The partners of the Finnish network, and especially the technology and business incubators located in technology centres and science parks, support companies to assess their R&D needs and capacities, as well as help companies to find contacts for growth and internationalization.
