A branch is not a separate legal entity. Auditors are elected in accordance with the type of office of the foreign entrepreneur and the appropriate regulations. The obligation to perform an audit of the accounts is based on the Auditing Act. In practice the auditors of a branch are probably elected by the entrepreneur's representatives in Finland.
