The requirement for a place of residence also concerns Finnish citizens. If a permit is required, a free-form application in Finnish or Swedish shall be filed with the National Board of Patents and Registration. The application must contain the following information:
If several permits are applied for in respect of the same business, the applicants can file one single application in which all the permits applied for and all the applicants are identified. The application is to be signed by the applicant or a representative authorised by a power of attorney. If the application is signed by power of attorney, the power of attorney is to be attached to the application. The application or its attachments must show that the applicant has given a written consent for the task. A copy of the applicant's passport is also to be attached to the application. If the application is accompanied by a document in a foreign language, a translation into Finnish or Swedish must also be attached to the application. Application feeThe application fee is 110 Euro for each permit for which a decision has been taken. If permits are sought for three members of the Board of Directors, three fees will be collected (a total of 330 Euro). The fee shall be charged after the decision to either grant or deny the permit has been taken. The decision will be delivered to the applicant or his/her representative C.O.D. (cash on delivery). | ||
